Neuroimmunology is a complex topic commanding an understanding of both neurologic physiology and the immune system. The most highly-tested neuroimmunology disorder on the RITE and board exams is multiple sclerosis. For this reason, we have discussed multiple sclerosis and its management in great detail in our Demyelinating Diseases chapter. In this chapter, though, we will cover some other neuroimmunological disorders that are often seen on examinations, but require a more cursory understanding.
